Baby, I can see you

While Michelle is lying down, we saw that her tummy is bulging up. We tried to feel it and it seems that it is our baby. He is on top of her tummy. I touched it and it is very hard. The feeling is different. It's like I'm almost able to touch my baby with only few centimeters apart. Really can't wait to see our baby.

A visit to the chinese doctor

Michelle consulted a Chinese doctor today. This is for her to take Chinese vitamins for the baby. They said that when she ate the vitamins, the baby will be much healthier and he will have Rosy cheeks. Don't know if it's true, but we've give it a try. The doctor also advised her to eat the following:
2 eggs everyday
Tofu
Apple

The doctor said that we'll be having a baby boy :) wooohoooooo! The doctor checked Michelle's pulse and according to him, if the pulse on the left is stronger, it is a baby boy. We'll see if its true in the next two week after we have our ultrasound.

Pregnancy and Baby Book

After more than a month of searching, we finally found the book that we've been looking for. We've been through different branches of PowerBooks, Fully-Booked and National Bookstore. But to no avail. Yesterday we went to Baby and Co. and surprisingly we saw the book we've been looking for. It's Pregnacy & Baby's First Year.

Here's a picture of the book

I felt my baby in Michelle's tummy

It seems that every evening at around 8-10pm our baby is awake. Michelle felt that our baby is moving that is why she let me put my hands on top of her tummy to see if i can feel my baby. Surprisingly I was able to feel a strong movement from my baby. The movement is from left to right. It seems to be something long which I think it's his hand or foot. After feeling the movement I became more excited on the gender of our baby. Still need to wait for 2 week for the ultrasound.

Iron + Milk = NO

Michelle has been taking Hemarate (Iron multivitamins for pregnant women) for almost a month now. But just this morning, my sister-in-law Johanna noticed that Michelle has been taking the vitamins with milk. According to her, Iron medication should not be taken together with milk for it will cause chelation. - Meaning, the Iron intake will be useless. We learned something new today. And starting tomorrow Michelle won't be taking Hemarate together with milk anymore.

We're excited

Finally this is what we've waiting for - Michelle will be having her congenital ultrasound in the next 3 weeks. Anytime before June 14, 2008. We are both so excited because we like to know the gender of our baby.
Is it a boy or a girl? hmmmmm..... anything will do as long as our baby is healthy and normal.

Oooopsss it's slippery

While taking a bath this morning Michelle almost slipped in the bathtub. It's a good thing that I was able to catch her. I got worried so much but I did not tell her. After knowing that she's OK and she's not hurt at all got me relieved. God is really good to us. He always protect us and provide our needs.

It's getting bigger

Michelle is already 4 months and 2 weeks pregnant. But if you don't know that she is pregnant, you won't notice it. Today Michelle's said that her tummy is getting bigger. After four months and 2 weeks, this is the first time that Michelle noticed her tummy grows bigger. When we went to church this morning she can still button her pants. But after we ate our lunch at super bowl trinoma, she suddenly felt that her pants was too tight. She can't button and zip her pants anymore. Well, this is a good sign atleast she can feel her baby start to grow now. hehe!

1st Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day bee! Today is Michelle's first mother's day. She is an expectant mom that is why I consider her a mother. :) We went to church (UBC) this morning, pastor's sermon was about love of a mother. I missed my mom because she is currently in Canada for a vacation. I was not able to celebrate mother's day with her today.

According to Rev. Leung Wai Man

Here are Seven ways to love your Mother
1. Love her verbally.
2. Love her physically.
3. Love her patiently
4. Love her attentively (with care)
5. Love her gratefully
6. Love her generously
7. Love her honorably

After today's church, UBC gave mothers a special gift... uummm.... looks yummy! :)

And this is the mother's day gift from Riley

Great move!

Today is the first time the Michelle felt that our baby moved. Our baby moved from left to right. Hmmmmm (malikot ata sya). hehehe The baby wont stop until Michelle played a kiddie music from her cellphone. The baby really stopped. It was such a nice feeling for Michelle because the baby interacts with her. Though she is not yet so sure if its really the movement she felt for it is her first pregnancy.

First encounter with baby

Last night was my first encounter with my baby. While Michelle is lying down, we felt that our baby was somewhere on top of Michelle's tummy. Her tummy was hard. I placed my palm on her stomach and i felt that he is as small as my palm. Im so happy that it was my first encounter with my baby.
